this is my page where i add all the things i like! other art pieces i've made but don't fit, blinkies, stamps, et cetera! i'll try to hide any moving ones to prevent flashing lights/colors although i can't 100% guarantee anything

ive struggled with my mental health before and feeling ''real.'' the title is the namesake of a song by AJR which i related to throughout my high school and college years. i never felt like i belong like i was always performing. upon reflection, i was dealing with a lot of mental health issues and what i know now autism! the strange feeling of never belonging to ''normal'' (neurotypical) people

topic of this assignment was 'surface.' i chose based on two definitions of surface via merriam webster & oxford dictionary:
sur·face
1. to come into public view
2. INFORMAL appear after having been asleep. i have a fascination with angels and the like so i ended up choosing an angel as my subject because certain types of angels have a lot of eyes as well as being watch dogs. the graffiti in the background are pictures i took and thought were relevant! the eyes blinking are my own. this was a pretty short assignment but i liked how the gif came out!
